How to Remove Hair Permanently | Permanent Home Hair Removal

There are a lot of people who wish to get rid of unsightly and unwanted hair. However, most of them want to do this right in the comfort of their own homes. If you are one of these persons who wish to remove hair permanently, then there are several options for you. However, you should look into these options carefully and do some research about them, so you could really get the results that you want.

Topical Creams:

Although not promising to removing hair permanently, there are now topical creams that offer long-term results when it comes to being hair free. These topical creams could be bought only if you have a prescription from a skin specialist. Known to slow down the growth of hair, these topical creams should be used along with other hair removal methods that could supplement its results like plucking, tweezing or shaving.

This topical ointment should be applied only twice a day and come with a number of restrictions that you should take care to observe carefully. It is known to be effective only for women and could remove hair permanently on the face. You should be aware though that if you will discontinue using this ointment, then your facial hair would go back to growing at its usual rate.

Electrolysis:

There is one hair removal method that promises to remove hair permanently, which you could also do at home and this is electrolysis. This device features an ultra-thin probe made of metal that could be inserted into the hair follicle and from which a small amount of electricity is discharged that will damage the follicle. Because of this method, hair removal can be done permanently. There are available home electrolysis machines on the market that cost around $40 to $50. With this, you have to make sure that you have chosen a model that has a probe that could be inserted into the hair follicle. This is because if the machine that you have purchased does not include this probe, then this is bound to give you only temporary results.

You have to be aware though that to remove hair permanently using a home electrolysis machine is very time-consuming, as you would be removing the hairs one follicle at time. This is especially if you are the kind of person who has thick hair. You need to be quite adept in using this hair removal device because improper usage could lead to accidental damage of the skin. As such, even if you have a home electrolysis machine, it would still be best if you would avail of the services of a trained professional for this.
